It is a fashion design training college set up by CNU and CQ clothing association. This college has trained thousands of fashion designers more than 20 years since the fashion design major was created. The teachers and students have won prizes in both domestic and foreign fashion design competitions. Nowadays this college is the most influential cradle for future fashion designers in CQ and an important training base in southwest of China. For the present, it offers practical skills in fashion design for undergraduates and vocational students, fashion design and fashion performance art for adult vocational students etc.

Meanwhile, it founded Jili fashion workroom and Huayuan fashion Ltd.CO. which not only satisfy the practical and teaching needs, but also provide employment opportunities for students. It has established several practical bases outside the school with CQ fashion association, fashion enterprises, the base of the training of labor service for foreign countries with CQ international company as well. Tianpai fashion Ltd and other famous enterprises set up special scholarship to help excellent university students in this college.
