This college is accredited to provide Masters Degrees in Regional Economics, Political Economy, Ethics, Marxist Theory and Ideological and Political Education. It is also accredited to provide bachelor degrees in both Ideological and Political Education and Economics through the Institute of Trade and Specialized Economic Training. The college posses strong faculty with are 13 full-time professors, 11 associate professor, and 3 professors with doctoral degrees. Among the staff, one teacher has been named a National Outstanding Teacher, 1 person has been named a Zeng Xianzi Education fund third-class award winner, and 1 person has been named a pace-setter in scientific research of Chongqing City.
